I really like how comfortable most people at my school seem to be with the LGBTQ community.
There was a video that people showed about Gay Marriage in my English class as an advertisement. The entire class was all "awwwws" and "look how cute!" when the guy proposed to the other and got a "yes" and it just made me feel so good about myself for when I do decide to come out to my family (although they probably already know... mom anyway...)
They seem so comfortable with people around them being gay and not being like... 'ew, what if they hit on me?" and stuff like that. it's like... we're actually people.
And not to mention they are like...
